From "Schitt's Creek" to the Emmys stage, Eugene Levy and Dan Levy stick together.
The father-son duo of funnymen are set to co-host the 76th Emmy Awards, which is slated to air live from the Peacock Theater at in Los Angeles. The duo will also make history in Hollywood as the first father-son duo to host the program.
“For two Canadians who won our Emmys in a literal quarantine tent, the idea of being asked to host this year in an actual theater was incentive enough,” the duo said in a press release Friday. “We’re thrilled to be able to raise a glass to this extraordinary season of television and can’t wait to spend the evening with you all on Sept. 15.”

It's been a busy year to be a Levy. Earlier this year, the elder Canadian actor, 77, received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and joined the Season 4 cast of Hulu's "Only Murders in the Building." But he's still best known for his roles in "Schitt's Creek," "American Pie," Christopher Guest mockumentaries including "Best in Show" and the cult classic sketch parody "SCTV," which also starred Catherine O'Hara, John Candy and Martin Short.

"It was so beautiful, and it was so beautifully written and just impeccably directed. And his performance as a (dramatic) actor transitioning from "Schitt's Creek," he said, adding that Dan is "an extremely talented young man. We've seen it three times now, my wife, Deb and I, and I'm ready for a fourth."
The Emmys will air on ABC on Sept. 15 and stream next day on Hulu.
